Types of container transportations

FCL Container

FCL — full container load.

Use of a whole container by one customer.

Best for large volumes (see container types and sizes).

Advantages of FCL:

  • Cost-effective for large volumes.
  • Faster delivery - no need to wait for other cargoes.
  • Maximum cargo safety. The container is loaded and sealed at the shipper’s warehouse. It arrives to the consignee with the original seal and in the same condition as it was loaded by the shipper.
LCL Container

LCL — less than container load (consolidation).

Consolidation of multiple small shipments into one container. Best for small volumes from 1 to 20 cubic meters. The cargo is delivered to our warehouse and consolidated with other shipments.

LCL advantages:

  • Cost-effictive for small volumes – you pay for the occupied space only. The rate is calculated based on the actual weight or volume, but not for the entire container.
  • Flexibility in planning - you can order a small volume of goods, not an entire container.
  • Regular delivery. Weekly shipments from major ports of China.
  • Accessibility for small business and irregular shipments - eliminates warehouse stocks.
